In the group of main competitors which offer leasing with the full package of services, Avis fleet share on December 31, 2011 was 23% and secured it the second place in the group according to the fleet volume. The company increased leasing fleet on 16.9% from 1876 cars on January 1, 2011 to 2256 on January 1, 2012. Avis’s investment amount into the purchase of cars during the mentioned period was 147 million UAH. Partial financing of the leasing agreements was made due to the company’s funds, part of projects was realized thanks to attracted funds from partner banks.
Total growth of the rental fleet during 2011 vs 2012 was 16%. In the frames of fleet renew program were bought 48 new cars that was 17% of the total fleet. Rental income raise in 2011 was 19.74% in comparison to 2010 thanks to price optimization and fleet increase. High demand for car rent in the regions of Ukraine was seen in the last year, in the result the total income of the regional stations increased on 39% in comparison to 2010.
Company has opened 2 new offices in Uzhgorod and Ivano-Frankovsk. Due to incoming EURO 2012 Avis rental stations were opened at the airports in Odessa and Kharkov.
Last year Avis Ukraine got an Outstanding Achievement of the Year award from the Avis World in the frames of Avis international internal contest hold by Avis Europe plc among Avis representatives in 40 countries.
