Alfa Bank plans to develop its leasing business



Alfa Bank (Kyiv) plans to develop the leasing business and intends to announce its ambitions in it in 2020, said the general manager (CEO) of the bank Rafal Yuszczak.

“The management of the leasing company has been strengthened – I invited Larysa Vlasova to work. She has a huge experience in the development of the leasing business in international structures (…) I think this year we will announce our ambitions in this direction, “he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

With reference to FinClub, Yushchak clarified that a member of Alfa-Bank’s banking group, Alfa-Leasing Ukraine LLC, is one of the three largest leasing companies on the market.

According to him, in addition to banking services and leasing, the bank also offers customers insurance support.

Vlasova worked for a long time in the Polish leasing company CARCADE, controlled by the Polish Getin Holding, was its general director, and then became the president of the banking group of the same name, which worked in Russia and the CIS countries. He has been the head of Alfa-Leasing Ukraine since mid-November last year.

As of June 1, 2020, Alfa-Bank ranked 6th among 75 banks operating in Ukraine in terms of total assets (UAH 94.113 billion).

Its main beneficiaries are Mykhailo Friedman (32.8632%), Herman Khan (20.9659%), Oleksiy Kuzmichev (16.3239%) and Petro Aven (12.4018%) – co-owners of ABH HoldingsS.A., Which also has investments in financial institutions in Belarus, the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and the Netherlands, as well as representative offices in Cyprus and the United Kingdom.
