Car rental and leasing company Avis Ukraine came to the rescue in a situation of restricted transportation between cities during quarantine and handed over to doctors who reside in the city for use their “car with driver” service.
Avis Ukraine has deployed its full-time driver and provided a nine-seater Renault Trafic Furgon minivan from its fleet to bring doctors to work and return them home after duty.
Every morning, Avis Ukraine driver collects doctors who live 50 km from Kyiv and brings them to work at the Kyiv City Maternity Hospital # 6 and transports them after duty in the homes.
In addition to the driver, Avis Ukraine has hired several staff to organize the movement of physicians for the transportation of physicians.
The #веземомедиківнароботу campaign launched by AKO Ukraine joined the OKKO filling station network, which, in addition to its main assistance, provided fuel for the refueling of the Avis Ukraine minivan that transports physicians.
“The problem of getting our doctors to work was very acute. Out of 300 employees, 128 live in Chernihiv, Poltava, Kiev regions, where there is no regular public transport and people have reached who can. We are very grateful to the companies for their help ”, – Serhiy Spychka, Deputy Chief Doctor of maternity hospital № 6.
