On December 19-20, 2019, a grand international conference was organized by Avis Ukraine , a member of the Ukrainian Union of Lessors.

The year 2019 has been extremely successful for the company. It has consolidated its leadership position as the largest representative office of the Avis Budget Group in the CIS and Eastern Europe, as well as changed the shareholder structure, which will pave the way for further success.
The conference was attended by 130 participants from 10 countries: Belarus, the United Kingdom, Georgia, Estonia, Israel, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia and Ukraine. They had the opportunity to hear 29 speakers – leading experts in leasing, finance, insurance, marketing, sales.
Maryna Masich, Director of the Association of Lessors was also invited as a speaker of the conference. During her speech in the leasing group of participants, the head of the professional association informed the audience about the present situation on the leasing market in Europe and Ukraine, spoke about the role of the Association in the development of the domestic leasing market.
In particular, she reported on the legislative initiatives of the Association – a new version of the Financial Leasing Act (draft # 1111 – is currently on the agenda of the parliament session) and proposals for improving taxation of leasing operations (draft # 2358, which has already passed the first reading).
The Head of the Association also noted the significant role of Avis in building a civilized leasing market in Ukraine and attested the personal active life position of Chaim Kapelnikov, CEO of the company.
