Receiving the “Choice of the Country” award in 2020, when the pandemic changed all the strategic plans of most companies working in the field of tourism and transport services – is evidence of maximum teamwork and great customer confidence in the company.
“I am grateful to my team Avis Ukraine , which quickly adapted and continued to work with inspiration, without slowing down in the new conditions: lockdown, restrictions, remote work. Heads of departments made quick decisions and managed to maintain our market position, minimizing losses for the company, which could be, in particular, due to the closure of borders (the lion’s share of our rental customers – foreigners).

Despite the difficulties in purchasing and delivering cars, the leasing department even managed to follow the plans we outlined for 2020, and the rental department managed to minimize potential losses by targeting local consumers of rental services and keeping the bar on service quality. Despite the fact that the company reduced the car fleet due to the pandemic by 30%, the occupancy rate of the remaining fleet was higher than in 2019.

The Country Choice Award is the second award Avis Ukraine received in 2020. In November 2020, the company received the Travel Oscar – the prestigious World Travel Awards in the nomination “Best Car Rental Company in Ukraine 2020”.
