Kyivpastrans will lease 200 new buses in 2020. The corresponding decision was made during a meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Kyiv City Council on Budget and Social and Economic Development on Thursday, March 5.
According to the KSCA press service, the CBT plans to buy 120 buses with a minimum length of 12 meters and 80 cars with a length of 18.5 meters. The leasing cost is EUR 50.7 million. The term is 36 months from the date of signature of the first act of acceptance, but no later than December 31, 2023.
It is planned that the new buses will be fully adapted to carry all segments of the population, with a low floor share of 100%. In addition, air conditioners will work in the salons and cabs of the cars.
We will remind you that this year Kyiv will receive 55 new trolleybuses. The cars will arrive in the capital’s fleet in late March. The city authorities also plan to buy 50 metro cars for the EBRD money.
