Without state support, leasing for citizens “will not take off.”
Market participants stated this during the round table “Does Ukraine need leasing for the population?” , organized online by the “Financial Club”.
“There is no incentive in the field of leasing today, and this is a catastrophe,” said Maryna Masich, director general of the Ukrainian Union of Lessors.
According to her, there is neither accelerated depreciation nor support for the use of energy-saving technologies, such as electric cars.
“Without state support, without subsidies, without motivation, leasing will take off for a very long time in our country. It would be good if the state supported or partially reimbursed the costs of buying the first car or the first apartment on lease. Such compensations are available when buying the first home (on credit. – Ed.), But there is no such in leasing. We need to be heard, and leasing in Ukraine should take off, ”said Ihor Hrytsenko, Head of Leasing Operations at TAScombank.
