attempt of an AVIS car theft. This time the misfeasers tried to steal Toyota
Prado.
The car was equipped with a system that was
specially designated by Benish GPS for rental
and leasing companies and was under the round the clock
monitoring and protection. Thus, on the 23th of August at 8:15 PM an AVIS
representative informed a Dispatch Center of Benish GPS about the theft of
their car in Odessa. The State Traffic Department’s patrol was directed to the
current car location. Within few minutes the car was found in the specified
place. All further activities were coordinated by the State Traffic Patrol
Department officer, investigation
team as well as an AVIS representative.
