Members of the Association registered 15.4% of cars, and 8.8% of LCV, purchased in Ukraine <\/em>in (within)<\/em> <\/em>8 months of 2021<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Members of organized leasing market registered 13 085 vehicles within first 8 months of 2021. 71% of them are new vehicles and 29% are used vehicles. These figures indicate that leasing continues to exceed last year’s figures by 45%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The volume of registrations decreased slightly in August compared to previous months, reaching a value of 1513 units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The top three leaders in both segments of new and used vehicles remained unchanged according to the results of the 8 month period. The top three companies in the segment new vehicles are: OTP Leasing (45% of all registrations), ULF Finance (17%), and Alfa Leasing (10%). The top three companies in the segment of used vehickes are: Autocredit Plus (53%), ULF Finance (24%) and Aventus Leasing (14%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cars traditionally remained the most popular among leasing assets with a share of 78% of all registrations of vehicles for the period. The share of cars has not changed compared to the same period of the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Renault have held their position as the most popular cars registered for leasing purposes. The share of this brand increased to 19%. The top five most popular brands also include: Toyota (11%), Skoda (10%) and Peugeot (9%). The list of brand-leaders has not changed significantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The segment structure of other vehicles also remained unchanged. Outside of the cars segment, about 9% of registrations was for cargo trucks and another 5% for light commercial vehicles. All other segments had a share of 3% or less. The Association estimates, that its members occupy about 80% of the entire market of leasing services.
