\u201cWe could have received the twelfth plane in May-June, but we deliberately postponed the delivery. What’s the point of getting a plane to stand here on the ground and have costs? We have the opportunity to negotiate with lessors on delivery delays. We have also already signed contracts and made the first payments for several more aircraft. This year we expect to receive at least one more, and several – next year, “- said Seroukhov, adding that a total of two more aircraft will be received in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thus, by the end of this year, SkyUp will have 13 aircraft in the fleet – 11 Boeing 737 NG families and 2 Boeing 737-900 ERs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, answering questions, Seroukhov noted that the carrier has no plans to abandon the supply of 737 MAX, as well as intentions to preserve the existing fleet.
