In August, Ukrainians bought and registered almost 7,000 new cars, which is 16% less than a year earlier, Ukravtoprom reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, the demand for new cars in Ukraine has cooled relative to the July result, the dynamics has become negative – minus 17 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the last month of summer, the best result on the market was again demonstrated by the RENAULT brand, whose 1,334 cars were issued license plates, which is 6% less than a year ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In second place, as in August last year, TOYOTA, only this time the demand for cars of this Japanese brand decreased by 2% to 1148 units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same time, the third place in the ranking with 24 percent growth was confidently taken by the German brand VOLKSWAGEN, which was in sixth place a year earlier. In a month, 560 new Volkswagens joined the Ukrainian fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The fourth most popular was HYUNDAI – 341 registrations and minus 10% until August 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Closes the top five of the month with sales growth of 56% SUZUKI – 311 pcs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also in the TOP-10 August were: SKODA – 294 pcs. (-51%); NISSAN – 281 \u0448\u0442. (-40%); MITSUBISHI – 229 \u0448\u0442. (+ 23%); PEUGEOT – 221 \u0448\u0442. (+ 13%); MAZDA – 220 \u0448\u0442. (-5%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
RENAULT Duster became the bestseller of the month, cars of this model last month received 605 registration numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In total, since the beginning of the year, Ukrainians have purchased and registered 52.5 thousand new cars, which is 4% less than in the same period last year.
