OTP Leasing has signed an agreement with Serhiy Tigipko’s TAS Group to finance the purchase of the last 350 grain haulers. This was announced by the General Director of OTP Leasing Andriy Pavlushyn on his Facebook page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will finance another 350 grain trucks for the TAS group, the amount of purchase at Dniprovagonmash will be about 400 million hryvnias, our client TAS-Logistics will use them, Pavlushyn said.
“I am proud that we financed railway cars made in Ukraine. 750 new cars (along with those that were funded last year) that carry Ukrainian grain, “Pavlushyn wrote, comparing the cost of one car with the cost of a Lexus car. He also added that he had agreed with the owner of TAS-Logistics, Serhiy Tigipko, on further cooperation.
At the request of NV Business, TAS-Logistics explained that UAH 400 million – is the amount that the leasing company has actually allocated and issued. Cooperation with OTP began in December 2017. At the same time, the railway operator attracts various sources of financing, including investing its own funds in the expansion of the car fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Volodymyr Ivashchenko, director of TAS-Logistics, the company’s fleet today is 1,476 cars, of which 160 are gondola cars and the rest are grain hoppers. “We have signed a contract for the production of another 200 grain trucks, which we will receive by November. That is, the company will have one thousand six hundred and seventy-six cars, “Ivashchenko said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
TAS-Logistics plans to increase its own fleet to 10,000 cars in the next 5-7 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
