Sales of new cars in Ukraine fell twice due to quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is evidenced by the data of the association “Ukravtoprom”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last month, 3.7 thousand new cars were bought and registered in Ukraine, which is almost twice less than in April 2019. However, the association notes that this is not an anti-record, and four or five years ago there were months with lower results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For comparison: in March, Ukrainians bought and registered 6.2 thousand new cars, in February – almost 7 thousand, and in January – 7.1 thousand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The leaders of the Ukrainian car market are Renault (771 cars, -31%), Toyota (428 cars, -56%) and KIA (259 cars, – 59%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Renault Duster became the best-selling car of the month. In April, 278 new cars of this model were sold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It will be recalled that in 2019, 408.1 thousand imported cars with mileage were registered in Ukraine, which is 3.5 more than in the previous year. Almost \u00be of this number were cars originating from EU countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
