On November 05, 2019, the Ukrainian Union of Lessors held a training for the participants of the Association on legislative innovations in two important areas – Bankruptcy and Consumer Protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should be reminded that the new legislation in this area contains both new risks and new opportunities for leasing market operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bankruptcy legislation\u00a0was identified\u00a0and legislation on consumer protection, requirements and caveats analyzed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants of the training discussed and developed common practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The leading consulting companies that are partners and members of the Association became speakers of the event.\u00a0Bankruptcy was addressed by a representative of the Law Firm KPD Consulting, and a representative of the Law Firm Prime Lex spoke about the requirements and reservations of the Law on Protection of Consumers of Financial Services.
More than 20 representatives of lessors – members of the Association in total took part in the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event took place in lively discussions and in a warm friendly atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Association “<\/em><\/strong>Ukrainian Union of Lessors“<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>– established in 2005 as a voluntary association of professional participants in the leasing market.<\/em>\u00a0From the same year, the Association<\/em>\u00a0is part of the<\/em>\u00a0LEASEUROPE<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Confederation<\/em>\u00a0with its headquarters in Brussels, which brings together the Association of 31 European countries.<\/em>\u00a0The Association includes participants that generate 80% of the Ukrainian leasing portfolio.<\/em>
