\"\"Ukrainian Union of Lessors having the leading rental companies as its members conducted the regular rental market research.<\/p>\n

The biggest market players such as BLS, Avis, Europcar,  Sixt, Aro Cars and Hertz provided data for statistical reporting.<\/p>\n

The results of the research show that almost all companies have increased their fleet last year. Overall, the fleet of the rental companies increased by more than 18%. Sixt is still the leader. At the end of 2012 there were 603 cars in the fleet of the company, it is by 43% more than in 2011. The second largest fleet belongs to Avis – 324 cars, the third to Budget Rent a Car – 204 cars. The triplet of the leaders remains unchanged for the last several years.<\/p>\n

As in the previous period, Avis has the biggest quantity of the rental days – 81,822 days, which is by 22.5% more than in 2011.<\/p>\n

As it was predicted by the Association experts there was a seasonal decrease of the fleet size by 20% in the second half of the year, while the 2013 forecast of the market growth is estimated at 25%.<\/p>\n
