The<br \/>\nAssociation\u2019s primary objective was to \u00abpromote development of the<br \/>\nopened and equal-accessible market of operational and financial leasing<br \/>\nin Ukraine by co-ordination of enterprises\u2019 activity, which had united<br \/>\nin order to protect their general interests\u00bb. At the same time it was<br \/>\nproclaimed, that the union will not serve for achievement of any<br \/>\nagreements between its members concerning the distribution of leasing<br \/>\nmarket.<\/p>\n<p>According to current legislation of Ukraine the union is a<br \/>\n non-profit organization. UUL Association works actively at<br \/>\nimplementation of regulation tasks and directs efforts for the increase<br \/>\nof its potential.<\/p>\n<p>The great attention is paid to the followings directions: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>development of rules and standards in the conduct of leasing business and rules of professional ethics at this market;<\/li>\n<li>approchement of the Ukrainian and European legislation in the sphere of leasing;<\/li>\n<li>support of the programs directed on increase of professional level<br \/>\n and preparation of specialists, conduct of educational and practical<br \/>\nconferences;<\/li>\n<li>cooperation of specialists in Association, creation to working groups and relevant committees;<\/li>\n<li>collection of statistical information with the purpose to draw out<br \/>\n progress of market trends; popularization of leasing as one of<br \/>\ninstruments for financing of update fixed assets; law-making activity<br \/>\nwith the aim to remove civil and tax obstacles in leasing market<br \/>\ndevelopment;<\/li>\n<li>creation the atmosphere of partnership between power authorities and leasing industry;<\/li>\n<li>cooperation with other organizations and associations, including international, in order to exchange experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With the purpose of development international ties UUL joined<br \/>\nFederation of the European associations of leasing companies LEASEUROPE<br \/>\nin 2005. Federation unites 47 national Associations of European<br \/>\ncountries which represent interests about one 1,5 thousand leasing<br \/>\ncompanies and engulf 92% the European leasing market. Members of<br \/>\nUkrainian Association participate at the working groups of LEASEUROPE on<br \/>\n items of CEE.<\/p>\n<p>Seven constantly operating committees work in Association: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marketing Committee<\/li>\n<li>Risk-management Committee<\/li>\n<li>Transport Committee<\/li>\n<li>Car-rental Committee<\/li>\n<li>Financial Legal Committee<\/li>\n<li>Analytical<\/li>\n<li>HR-managemant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The main motivation of Association development is to protect and<br \/>\nput forward interests of each participant of the union, and all<br \/>\nparticipants of the market.<\/p>\n<p>UUL is based on the principles of the<br \/>\n opened membership: full \u2013 for professional participants of the market<br \/>\nand associated \u2013 for non-leasing companies. The highest organ is the<br \/>\ngeneral meeting. The Association Board carries the union\u2019s activities in<br \/>\n the period between general meetings. The Board appoints the Executive<br \/>\nDirector who presents Association&nbsp; in relations with all enterprises,<br \/>\nand organizations. Since March 2008 Maryna Masich is the Director of<br \/>\nAssociation \u00abUkrainian Union of lessors\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Currently UUL unites 37 companies, among them there are leading leasing companies and representatives of contiguous markets.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>The<br \/>\n Association Board is represented by the companies: AVIS Ukraine,Ilta, First Leasing Company\/ALD Automotive, OTP Leasing, Raiffeisen Leasing<br \/>\nAval, Ukrainian Leasing Fund, UniCredit Leasing, VTB Leasing .
