Ukrgasbank will lease 30 trams worth € 1.2m to Dnipro city

The Dnipro City Council has allowed the utility Dniprovsky Elektrotransport to enter into a financial leasing agreement with Ukrgasbank for the purchase of used trams.

This decision was made at the last city council meeting. According to the published decision, Dneprovsky Electric Transport plans to buy 30 trams for a lease scheme of 1.2 million euros. Leasing term (durable use) – up to 36 months. The lease payments are to be repaid on a monthly basis.

We will remind, last summer in Dnipro seven tram cars from Germany were let out on routes. In total, the city intended to purchase 20 tram cars previously used in Germany.

Earlier it was reported that the Dnipro city council approved the loan terms from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the purchase of new trolleybuses.

To date, the fleet of the Dnipro electric transport enterprise has 388 units, including trolleybuses – 149 (20 trolleybus routes), trams – 239 (14 tram routes).
