During the implementation of the program of housing on financial leasing, in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers У1201, the State Mortgage Institution provided housing for 1969 families of police officers of the National Police and rescuers of the SES in all regions of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of 2020, 858 families have benefited from the financial leasing program. This year, the State Mortgage Institution has allocated more than UAH 1 billion to provide police officers and members of the rank and file of the Civil Protection Service with housing leases, which were attracted by SMIs in 2020 through the issuance of state-guaranteed bonds.
According to operative information, taking into account the number of appeals to SMIs, more than 13 thousand families are waiting for a positive decision on providing state support for providing them with housing on the terms of financial leasing in accordance with Procedure 1201.
According to the head of the State Mortgage Institution Vyacheslav Frolov, tens of thousands of our citizens are interested in purchasing housing on affordable terms. First of all, these are people who have a low income and hope for state assistance in the form of various state support programs. One such effective and proven program is financial housing leasing.
“The demand for the program and the positive effect of its implementation allows the SMI to set ambitious goals for the possibility of extending the mechanism of financial leasing of housing to other categories of citizens. The leadership of the State is interested in the development of this important social area and we hope that the Government will do everything possible to support these people, which will allow as many families as possible to improve living conditions, “said Vyacheslav Frolov.
