12/4/19 VINNYTSA POST-RELEASE: Fair and Seminar: “Leasing for Financing Small and Medium Businesses of Vinnytsa region”.

Continuing the tradition of educational activities for individuals and entrepreneurs, the Ukrainian Union of Lessors held another seminar for small and medium-sized businesses. The event was organized in partnership with Vinnytsa Regional Development Agency, which is extremely concerned with the problems of its businessmen and helps them to access new sources of financing.

The event took place in two stages – theoretical and practical. At the beginning – powerful practitioners, executives of leading leasing companies of Ukraine, told participants what leasing is, what are its features regarding different types of equipment and what are the requirements for the lessee. Options for cooperation with suppliers of production facilities when purchased in Ukraine and abroad were also outlined.

The experts-speakers represented such companies as ULF Finance, Tecom Leasing, Best Leasing, OTP Leasing, Esca Capital, Alpha Leasing and insurance company “Ingo”.

In addition to the speakers, representatives of the small and medium businesses of Vinnytsa region also told the audience about their successful experience of cooperation with leasing companies. For example, Alexander Dobrovolsky, one of the directors of the well-known company “Fruktona – VN” shared with the participants his success story. The company is engaged in fast freezing of berries and therefore the modern technological equipment is a critical factor. Despite this equipment being unique and of low liquidity, the company but still managed to find a lessor (Tecom-Leasing ) who agreed to finance importing that machinery from abroad. Today, “Fruktona – VN”  is a modern high-tech enterprise with high competitiveness. Mr. Dobrovolsky told all the details of the deal, the benefits and opportunities he received and urged his fellow countrymen to take advantage of the leasing financing.

In the second stage, the participants could visit the exhibition-fair of leasing products and get payment calculations for one or another type of equipment. More than a dozen lessor-members of the Association presented their opportunities at the exhibition for this purpose.

Participants of the event had the opportunity to communicate in an informal atmosphere at the buffet table with the best experts of the leasing market, exchanging contacts and ideas. The guests, representatives of small and medium businesses, expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the interesting program and valuable tips on their business development.
