The Ukrainian Union of Lessors provides trainings for leasing market professionals

Trainings for leasing market professionals.

The Ukrainian Union of Lessors (UUL) is pleased to announce the establishment of a training center created with the support of the USAID Transformation of the Financial Sector Project, with the aim of training and improving the skills of the employees of leasing companies-members of UUL.

In June, four events have already taken place, and 2 more seminars are scheduled for 20 and 21 June:

June 4-5 training for “field” sellers took place. The training had a practical focus on developing and improving skills for effective sales: price reasoning, work with objections, sales planning, building long-term relationships with customers, time management, etc.

The seminar held on June 8 was devoted to the new legislation on limited liability companies. During the training, attention was paid to such important innovations as: updated rules on the realization of the rights of the members of the partnership, the agreements between the parties and the creditors, the options for the sale and purchase (Put and Call Option) of the shares in the authorized capital, as well as other important issue of management of the company, its property, competencies of the authorities, risks and minimization of them during the conduct of the economic activity of the company after the change of the relevant domestic legislation.

On June 12  the “Sales Management” training took place. If the training on June 4-5 was dedicated to developing tools for increasing the sales results at a personal level, the Sales Management seminar focused precisely on managing sales teams and the sales processes in a leasing company – which is why the target audience of the training was sales managers and company executives.

On June 15, 2018, the seminar “Anti-corruption Compliance as a Tool for Company Protection” was held in Kyiv. The purpose of this workshop was to familiarize leasing companies with regulation of anti-corruption measures in Ukraine and key global jurisdictions, anti-corruption management systems and approaches to managing corruption risks that arise when dealing with third parties.

On June 20 and 21, the Ukrainian Association of Lessors holds two other interesting events:

On Wednesday, June 20, a training workshop on “Vendor Funding: Potential for Ukrainian Leasing Companies” will take place. The training is being conducted by the international expert of the USAID Transformation Financial Sector Project, Katarzyna Kachmarek, who will visit Ukraine for this event.

The target audience of the training are commercial directors of the lessors, sales directors and company executives.
Participation for members of the Ukrainian Association of Lessors is free.

On Thursday, June 21, the Ukrainian Association of Lessors invites you to get practical knowledge from two important issues at once:

  • New procedural legislation and current leasing practice.
  • Features of collection of debts by a private executor.

Training “Novel Procedural Legislation and Current Leasing Practice” is designed for leasing companies, banks, and other financial institutions: legal department staff, lawyers for dispute resolution, specialists in problem-solving departments, as well as a wide range of participants who are in their activities directly or indirectly involved in matters of court proceedings or execution of court decisions.

The speakers of the workshop are Igor Kalitventsev and Andriy Ivanov – specialists with many years of practical experience in the field of procedural legislation and current leasing practice.

Participation for members of the Ukrainian Association of Lessors is free.
