Porsche Finance Group has provided charity support to the Red Cross hospital in Vyzhnytskyi rayon, Chernivtsi oblast. The financial donation in the amount of UAH 40 000 will be spent on food, purchase of bedding and new equipment for the hospital.
As a good corporate company Porsche Finance Group pays great attention to charitable projects. Support lent to the hospital in Vyzhnytskyi rayon is only a part of the charitable mission of the company in Ukraine to which the Group is greatly committed.
The hospital in a small Carpathian village Beregomet, Vyzhnytskyi rayon, is considered to be one of the oldest hospitals of the Red Cross in Ukraine. Since 1996, this health care facility has been providing free medical and social assistance to needy residents of the oblast: the elderly and lonely people, people with disabilities. Within this time over 6 and a half thousand oblast residents have received help in the hospital.
“Our company is committed to helping those who really need it – says the Director General of Porsche Leasing Ukraine Josef Graf. – We saw that the hospital in the village of Beregomet was in sore need of our help, and sincerely want our support to be helpful in improving patients care.”
“Now the hospital faces a critical problem of purchasing a portable electrocardiograph, because not all patients we have are able to walk. We are in constant need for funding of meals, maintenance of facilities, – said Tatyana Kornilovich, head of the Chernivtsi oblast branch office of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine. – So we are very happy to get support from Porsche Finance Group.”
Unfortunately the Red Cross is not funded by the state and requires continued sponsorship. Porsche Finance Group intends to maintain cooperation with the Society on an ongoing basis. In addition, the Company supports the projects of independent dealers, and has recently provided the Smelyanskii district hospital with a modern incubator for newborn babies.
